Mid-South CPSP Regional Meeting In North Little Rock, Arkansas


The first of several regional meetings of the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy will be held in the North Little Rock, Arkansas, July 15-16, 2007. This is an opportunity for those interested in CPSP to learn about:
• Who makes up CPSP
• What CPSP has to offer
• CPSP’s relationship to other pastoral care cognate groups
• CPSP’s philosophy of training & certification
• CPSP Chapter Life offering on-going peer consultation

Sunday, July 15, the meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of North Little Rock. The afternoon will start with a panel discussion and dialogue with Raymond Lawrence, CPSP General Secretary; Jim Gebhart, CPSP President; and Perry Miller, Chair of CPSP Chapter Life Committee. Following that, there will be small groups for consultation. This provides an opportunity for participants to bring case material and other issues for consultation. The day will conclude with a dinner presentation.

The session on Monday, July 16, will begin with a breakfast at the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock. Following breakfast, CPSP members and CPE students will have an opportunity for consultation with Raymond, Jim, and Perry. The event will conclude with lunch.
